EDEN FIRE CURRENT UPDATES

Dear Eden Community,

First, we want to say thank you for the outpouring of love and support over the past 24 hours. It’s wonderful to be part of this community. God is at work and we fully trust that the future is full of hope. 

Special thank you to Santa Clara Fire Department, Campbell Police Department, and the many first responders who bravely fought the fire, and protected our campus. 7 fire trucks surrounded the auditorium yesterday, and crews of firefighters worked diligently to put out the fire efficiently, protecting the auditorium from structural damage, and protecting the rest of campus from any spread of fire.

Special thank you to Madlen, Director of Hearts and Hands Preschool, and her team of teachers who promptly evacuated the preschool on campus. Everyone is safe, and we are grateful for God's protection that no one was injured.

Plan Beginning This Sunday

Gratefully, the exterior of the auditorium building is intact. The interior damage is extensive, and so beginning this Sunday, we'll host services at 9:30am & 11am outdoors in a tent, in the Eden parking lot. 

Eden Kids & Eden Youth

Eden Kids and Eden Youth will resume as normal in their classrooms and buildings - which were untouched by the fire. 

Repairs & Rebuilding

Our team has applied for permits to begin repairing and rebuilding. We are working through the insurance process, and will keep you updated over the next several weeks.

Dear EDEN Community,

We trust God at all times, and in all circumstances. Today, we were not expecting to send this email, but God is good and we trust He has good plans for our church and our future.

This evening at approximately 5pm, there was a fire in the EDEN Church auditorium. There is an ongoing investigation into the cause of the fire. The auditorium is still standing, but the interior damage is significant. Thankfully, no one was injured, and we are grateful to the first responders who quickly moved into action and prevented the fire from spreading. Only the auditorium was damaged.

We love Sundays with you and are excited to let you know that church will continue! We are working on a plan and will update you soon with more information.

We invite you to pray with us as we seek God and trust in His goodness. We believe wholeheartedly that the future is full of hope. We look forward to seeing how God works through this circumstance for good.
