2025 has been a year of growth—we are celebrating all the ways God has grown our community over the past year.
Each story of a changed life is a reminder that God is powerfully at work here in the Bay Area.
In the coming year, we will continue to pursue Jesus with passion, serve our city with love, make disciples and build a community marked by faith. Let’s lean in together — believing that the best is yet to come.
DEEPER & WIDER
In 2020, we began an annual initiative, For the Future, with the goal to keep dreaming, believing, and trusting God with more of our resources. Our continued prayer is that God will use our church to fulfill His mission in our world. We specifically pray for two goals:
DEEPER RELATIONSHIPS
We envision a church relationally rooted in our community. We believe that faithfulness over time produces lasting impact. A group of Jesus-loving people, living on mission, forms a meaningful community.
WIDER IMPACT
Our prayer is to expand the influence of Jesus through strategic partnerships, outreach efforts, and compassion ministries.
Over the years, because of your generosity to For the Future, Eden has supported the start of 7 new churches in the Bay Area, partnered with 6 gospel-centered local ministries to expand compassionate care in our city, and transformed the Eden campus to better serve the spiritual needs of our community.

Q&A
What’s the difference between tithing and this special offering?
Tithing is our regular, proportional giving throughout the year. The word tithe means “tenth” and it is our proportional giving instructed by God in Scripture.
(Num 18:26, 2 Chron 31:6, Lev 27:30, Mal 3:9-10, Deut 14:22, Luke 11:42)
In Scripture, there are also special offerings that represent a sacrificial gift above the regular tithe to make a greater impact for a specific purpose. (Psalm 54:6, Num 7, Num 15, Deut 16:17) For the Future represents a special offering.
What amount can I give?
Our goal together as a church is to raise $250,000, and it will take everyone’s participation to accomplish the goal. Please prayerfully consider a gift that will stretch your faith. (2 Cor 9:6-8)
When should I give?
You can give to For the Future anytime between now and January 31, 2026. We encourage you to give before December 7, 2025 if possible. We are aware that some people need to wait until January to give because of year-end income or other unique circumstances.
How can I give stocks, crypto, or through a trust or will?

Will I receive a record of donations for tax purposes?
Yes, you will receive a giving statement annually, and you can also access and download your giving records online for tax purposes.
